Qi Sha (Seven Killings): What Restrains. Usable Only When It Is Controlled
Qi Sha restrains the day master, with the same yin-yang. For Jia Wood it is Geng Metal. In the strength reading it restrains, on the same side as Zheng Guan. It is not a star more terrible than the Officer. Pressure, deadlines, and force from outside often come from here. Pressure itself is not achievement.
If the day master is weak and nothing controls Qi Sha, it is only pressure. You have no spare force. More restraint only tightens. There is no breakthrough to discuss. To use it, there must first be control. Often Shi Shen controls it: draining the day master while holding the killing force down, so the pressure becomes a job to finish. Or the Seal transforms it: metal produces water, water produces wood, and the restraining force is turned into birth. The whole chart has to actually run that way. Seeing Geng and Ren is not automatically a transformation.
With no Shi Shen to control it and no Seal to transform it, do not write Qi Sha as nerve or power. With control, and a day master that can bear it, you may say "use." The label can say "pressure, breakthrough." Breakthrough has to follow "there is control."
Only Geng against Jia is Qi Sha. For Geng to be controlled, Bing Fire has to actually restrain that metal, or Ren Water has to come out of the metal and then birth the wood. A character far away, or one that has been clashed off, does not count as control. Without control, this piece stops at restraint.
